Knows how to throw down, big house close to campus means lots of insane parties. Don't wear nice clothes at their parties, they're known for their champagne showers.

Poor boys wrecked a historical home of Tenleytown but confess their sins through killer philanthropy on campus. Sad they have mean neighbors but at least they're so talkative and friendly (yikes)

Can't throw parties anymore and when they do, the cops always show up. Cancelled multiple parties this semester and are afraid of getting in trouble. Brothers seem to prefer other frat parties and only thing going for them is campus involvement

Sig Ep, one of the biggest if not the biggest fraternity on campus, has many guys that make the chapter diverse and unique. They're not exact replicas of each other as you see in other fraternities and they're very involved on campus--IFC president to club leaders to AU ambassadors to student govt. Their house has been in the fraternity for many years and is huge and close to campus, making it super easy to go to darties or throw down for one of their champagne nights or flirters and squirters. Parties are fun, they have three rooms for dancing and two bars on the upper and basement level. The newer pledge classes are definitely the new face of the fraternity which is more social. Sig Ep with the highest GPA on campus, winning multiple chapter of the year, and the upward trend to being more social is definitely something to keep an eye out for.

A good group of smart people with a solid house for parties. They’d probably have a better rep if they threw parties more often and if their pledging process wasn’t so time consuming.

Overview: Although they’ve been known as the “nice guy” frat with a huge academic focus for a while, it feels like SigEp has started to switch its goals as they came back from their minor absence on campus last semester and have definitely improved their social standing substantially. They haven’t really competed with other frats for new guys, as they have honestly one of the best bids given-to-bids accepted ratios. And surprisingly this new class looks to be a bit of a mold-breaking class for them. Why they’re unique: As previously stated, SigEp is definitely the top of the “nice guy” frats (which are probably Delt, SAE, Zeta etc), just for their ability to party. They did have a few issues last semester but their house is one of the best size-wise and they’ve really started to go all out with this champagne shower thing. Also, since they are knows as a “nice guy” frat, they rarely are at risk from getting hit with any sanctions by the school. SigEp is also by far the biggest frat on campus, with about 20 more people than the next two biggest, Delt and DChi. Literally walk on campus for 10 minutes and you’ll definitely have seen a SigEp. Shortcomings: One huge issue with SigEp which makes is a little bit of a reach to put them here is the fact that they don’t mix with any of the top sororities. They really seem content to mix with AXID, Phi Sig and even Phi Mu semester after semester. That’s a bit confusing to me why they haven’t pushed to mix with top sororities when the AEPIs and SigChis of the world are able to get mixers with them semester after semester. Their issues with their house last semester definitely set them back a bit socially as well, the social aspect always being a bit of a setback for the frat. Summary: SigEp knows the type of guys they want and constantly go after them and are able to lock them down quick. They effectively destroyed SAE apparently by taking half(? Not sure the exact number) of the kids SAE bid this semester. However, social shortcomings in terms of mixers means that they really can’t be considered a “top” frat just yet. Great guys though!
