grades

I'm a freshmen who took extremely hard classes first semester of college, bio, calc and chem at the same time,
Which really took a toll on my gpa. One bad grade brought my GPA down to about a 2.9, do sororities strongly look down on this?

I got a 3.0 first semester and it didn't effect me in recruitment! Just make sure to show that you're really well rounded on your application (clubs, leadership, etc)
