Alpha Xi Delta - ΑΞΔ Sorority Ratings at UMD

One of the best sororities on campus...classy, pretty and involved in campus and greek community. They ARE the girl next door...friendly and outgoing. Like I said, one of the best.

trying a little hard

They have nearly triple the amount of ratings as any other sorority. If that in itself doesn't scream out tryhard, "look at me!" this sorority is, then I don't know what will. They self-promote lot for girls who average out (there are some smokes, I'll admit, but they're few and far between) to slightly below average. I've heard a rumor that some of their chairs did some "naughty" things to get what they wanted with other frats (DChi). They're active in the community, which is nice though.

seeing as how axid has the most rankings out of all the sororities and that they also have the highest score, this sorority excels in self promotion!! sorry ladies, we can tell when you try too hard

This sorority is the best! Fun, pretty girls, classy and involved. It a shame that the insecurities of other sororities are uneasy about the rapid growth, accomplishments and friendliness of this new sorority.

This sorority is a mover and a shaker! It's been only two years since they re-established and came on strong becoming a solid top middle tier sorority. It's movin on up! The rapid rise and popularity of the sisters has some long established sororities shakin and quakin. Sororities that were once top tier (can you say dri-telta), which are now a solid lower tier sorority, just can't handle it. These girls are hot, classy and sassy.

try hards. its so annoying

I like hangin with the girls in this sorority. The events that we have shared have all been fun and friendly. They appear to be comfortable with one another... no drama. As far as the too competitive thing...it's all a matter of opinion. Are they involved, driven and try to excell, yes! But what's the problem with that?

Unbiased Greek guy's perspective: More attractive than they get credit for, they have some hot seniors and their new class looks pretty good. They're definitely involved on campus, and they've done pretty well in Greek week/ homecoming, although they need to take the competitiveness down a few notches. Overall a pretty good chapter considering their age and the culture of MD greek life, definitely good potential. Other sororities seem to hate on them, so they must be doing something right.
