It really is a loss for UMKC that Beta is no longer a fraternity. The men of this organization were handed the short end of a stick that got blown out of proportion. Beta was a very well known and well respected frat at UMKC. They sported the best GPA on campus and had a great group of men with lots of potential.

Beta have been getting into some sketchy incedents. There are some cool individuals but as a whole they express a douchebag mob mentality

In the article about how they were allegedly removed from campus it says, “ The UMKC chapter of Beta Theta Pi was allegedly removed from campus last week. While rumors have circulated about the fraternity and what would give UMKC cause to remove it, U-News is currently unable to confirm the circumstances surrounding the alleged removal. Reporters from U-News have asked nearly 20 potential sources to comment, but many have declined, including Director of Media Relations.” True men don’t hide from the truth. They can’t even own up to what they did! How shameful is that!!

Honestly they got tied up in some trouble that wasn’t even true. I’ve only had good times with these guys. Top grades for 30 years, majority in med school. If there is something positive, or social happening on campus, you can believe it’s beta’s event, or they are running it.

Ugh I miss these guys. I’m in the only other substantial fraternity on campus and I miss being able to win guys over instead of having new members lining up at our front door. The other frats on campus (you know who you are) are pathetic losers who can’t begin to replicate the healthy rivalry that the top two fraternities had. I miss the real Greek life.
