Funny, but your argument is invalid. You say the lower the comments, the higher the rank at school. Yet, APhi has lower comments, is ranked high here and is middle to lower tier at Tech. Hmmm... PNMs- my advice, go with your heart. You will know who you like once you go through recruitment. You will find where you fit in best. Every house has very diverse girls and you will become friends with your pledge class as well as girls in other sororities. I would try and find out who is on probation because it might affect fall parties. Other than that, don't worry about the rank. Every sorority shines for different reasons. So please, go with your gut, your heart and where you feel you fit in best. Good luck and have a great recruitment.

it changes every year. every sorority has a sophmore quota (which changes every year) so all will take some sophmores. Despite what some people think or say, the popularity of sororities during rush changes every year...this is coming from someone who see's the yearly returns. The most important thing as a sophmore is a PNM's grades.

All sororities take sophomores and it varies every yr as to what the number/quota/percentage for each group is. It is important for PNMs to be well rounded with good grades. A good academic resume from high school is important to show your extracurriculars, your volunteerism, your grades and your work history but most girls going thru recruitment already know this. Also, make sure and include any part time jobs held during your freshman yr. If someone worked part time and made a 3.5, then that's impressive.

Unsecure?? Really?please retake Freshman English so you will have a better understanding of our language when you post your ?holier than thou? rants. It?s a little embarrassing for you, but thank goodness, this is anonymous. No one will know that it was you. Cheers to you enjoying life!

I would put anything and everything that you were involved in throughout your high school yrs: Fr, So, Jr, Sr. Put any organizations that you were a member of both inside and outside of school. For example, you might be involved in a church group or a team sport outside of school. Or, you might have been in student council in school. Put any volunteer activities that you participated in. Also include any part time work that you may have done. And, I would also include any relatives parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents that were members of a sorority/fraternity. You might to google "how to prepare for sorority recruitment". There are some websites that might be helpful. Good luck!
