Did Socrates drink poison or was it non lethal?
by: NoahSocrates was given a choice between erasure or eternal commemoration by willfully drinking poison. Did he know what was in the cup? Would he have been able believe it might not be poison but not know so and drink it anyway. Did Socrates die in that court?
