My roommate was a KKG and she hated it b/c of all the emphasis on money. She graduated in 2013. She said recruitment team first zip code checks PNMs and then Google maps their houses. They will take legacies and those are probably the nicest ones in there. If you slip in and you're not loaded, prepare to be ostracized because every sisterhood event, even casual, involves shopping in Beverly Hills or jet-setting.

If you have to ask, KKG probably isn't the house for you or probably USC isn't the school for you.

yes, they are VERY superficial, the only reason they will ever choose you is if you're rich, have a famous mom (like some of the girls in the house) or you have connections

Trust me ... If you're not über-wealthy, you don't want to be a Kappa. I'm one of those who slipped in because my freshman roommate was a legacy and her mom pulled strings to get us in. I have been miserable and am graduating early so I can take alum status and not have to deal with the cattiness that comes with being in a superficial house. Sad, but true.

Not a troll. My disappointing experience in Kappa at USC is the reason I am graduating early. Many others are happy, but if you don't fit the mold, you will be a kitchen girl and ostracized from other activities. Just saying...

You all make me disgusted to be greek. Every single post in this thread is made up by jealous girls in other top houses trying to take over the top spot.

NEWSFLASH, all the houses are amazing at USC. Stop trying to hurt each other or bring each other down. It won't make your house look better to spread lies about your rivals, and even worse - it's obvious which houses are doing it, because most wouldn't care.
