is everything about money here?
by: Worried.I really want to rush a sorority, but I read somewhere on this site that sororities judge you by who you know and what family you come from and that the sororities here Google your last name and what house you live in on Google maps. I came from a single mom and two grandparents and we just lived in a small town. One of those towns where not everyone in the whole town knows each other, but everyone in the neighborhood knows each other. It's like a little suburb. I went to public school, but It's one of the best public schools in my county. And I lived in a house with only 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (3 if you count the one in the masters). Do I have a chance at getting into a respected sorority?

how does throwing a party for your 21st birthday to benefit charity make someone unclassy, just wondering?

Like tak said, only KKG seems hung up on $$$. All the other houses just want to make sure you can pay your dues and will fit in. If you can afford USC even with financial aid, you can afford a sorority. Don't pay attention to the truth poster (troll).
