i am a kappa and i am an extremely offended

I am proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and I am very hurt and extremely offended (admittedly much more than I originally thought that I would be) with all the hatred and vitriol thrown our way. We are not all shallow rich girls. Yes, there are certainly girls like that in my house. But, please remember that there are 400 plus girls in this house.
Am I shallow? Nope, I like philosophy and think about the meaning of life every day in terms of how to make the most of every day of my life before I die. Am I rich? No, I am upper middle class but not at all super rich like people who own their own yacht. Am I pretty? I think I am realistically above average but certainly not stunning like most of my sisters. Am I blonde? Nope, I am a brunette. Am I tall? No I am average height at about 5' 8.

I genuinely hope that anyone who wants to really know Kappa actually take the time to meet us. I am not saying to stalk us or anything but if one of us is in one of your classes and is participating in an intellectual class discussion, please tune in and listen to what the Kappa has to say. There is a more than 50 percent chance that you will hear something intelligent coming out out of her mouth than just talk about shopping sprees and yacht trips.
