rush parties

incoming freshman wondering when rush and rush parties start? Will there be any on the week of 13th of August? I get into LA early and would like chance to see what the houses are about. From Palo Alto High and heard Lamda Chi and Sig Chi are the only ones worth rushing but want other opinions.

Actually If he is model quality, a celebrity , born into Royalty or starter on the FB team or his parents are billionaires he does not have to be from the OC. Lambda will still consider him
