how do you know if the sorority is interested in you during rush? if you talk to girls on the executive board of that sorority does that mean they like you and are trying to rush you?

Every house is trying to make you feel as welcome as possible, honestly it's hard to tell. Usually the recruitment chair or the president will talk to you but they can't talk to every single girl they want. It's hard to tell until second round honestly.
