the paying for exchanges thing isnt true... its a pathetic rumor started by another sorority that wishes it were true. Alpha phi has recently gotten hate from some of the other sororities because their last pledge class was insanely good. A few of the aphis are not my favorite girls either but come on, spewing lies on an anonymous website? They may not all be the nicest girls but I don't think they "social climb" any more than other sororities. Just stop the pre-recruitment bashing

Whoa what's with the hate? Panhelenic love guys. They have sweet girls. Weren't they asked to homecoming by SAE and chose AEPi instead? Doesn't sound too "social climbing" to me

A large majority of the Alpha Phis I've met aren't the nicest and seem to be very absorbed by social climbing. They gloat about how TKE is their house and are always trying to get "higher ranked" houses to do exchanges and with them.

I love Alpha Phi! I've rushed twice, the first time Aphi dropped me (not sure why) so i rushed again the next year and i got a bid! Sadly, i couldnt join for finacial reasons. But after undergoing rush two years in a row, I've really gotten to know the houses. Alpha Phi made the rush process so easy and relaxing. I didnt feel judged at all, i felt like they were genuinely trying to get to know me. Alpha phi has a great reputation and any girl would be lucky to be surrounded by such nice girls!

their reputation is sporty and quirky lately they have been really/desperately trying to climb the social ladder so people don't like them as much now but overall they are ok

You should really try to get to know each house yourself and choose the house you feel most compatible with. Meditating on rankings can really skew your image of a house and cause you to regret your choice later on. But if you really care, below are the true rankings alphabetized within each rank: Top Tier: Delta Gamma, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Kappa Alhpa Theta Middle Tier: Alpha Delta Pi, Alpha Phi, Delta Delta Delta, Pi Beta Phi Bottom Tier: Alpha Chi Omega, Gamma Phi Beta, Sigma Delta Tau
