dropped by top 6 sororities
by: sadi was dropped by literally all of my top 6 choices for invites and only got my bottom 2. i guess im a little bit confused why since i thought this was uncommon and i really felt like i connected with some girls in my top choices. im a little bit shy but i thought it went well and im pretty sure im not chopped. i’m wondering if it was a major consideration that im in 3rd year and that could be why? or else i have to question if im just painfully unlikable

hey, I’m also a 3rd year and all of the 2nd and 3rd years I spoke to today had the same experience, including me. Made absolutely no sense to us and it was a shock, but I think it definitely is the age. I’m guessing that 1st years get priority. Just keep an open mind!

Same here, only got back Alpha Gamma and Theta might be just an algorithm thing :(

Honestly it can be a shock to walk to panhel in the AM and be slapped with what can feel like rejection.
I promise you it’s not. We vote on girls but we don’t cut them- an algorithm does. No one knows exactly how it works. It’s basically trying to optimize everyone getting a bid from SOMEWHERE. Chapters that had a lot of girls rank them high actually get less girls at each round, even if every active member were to give every single PNM a perfect score, a lot of those girls won’t end up getting matched back to the chapter.
Not stressing about being cut from your “favourites” might show that you’re able to fit in more chapters than some other gals!
The chapters you got will be so so lucky to have you back <3 pce n love !!!
