Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of British Columbia - UBC 3.2 To be honest, AOPI is a pretty good sorority for sisterhood. But there’s no point hiding the fact that you guys have a decent amount of weird and awkward members, everyone knows. For the girls that are trying to improve the sorority, u really need to step up your game and take charge. Every single sorority is selecting members for recruitment and it’s fine u’re not doing that cuz u want to be fair, but just know that you will get very low results and you will need to rush the rest of the year with COB. Also you just need to be more selective with your membership or stay bottom forever. Every little improvement you make, we see it but it always get ruined by the members you recruit.

That's not really fair because they have to take a certain number of girls to even stay a chapter, and right now they are forced by Panhel to take that amount of girls and have enough funds to pay their Panhel/International dues and keep their chapter room etc. That's why it's SO HARD to move up in the recruitment system. AOII being the newest chapter means they were at a disadvantage from the get go. I think they are getting steadily cuter and they just need to keep showing their pretty members on their social media, have them going to events etc. and build a stronger presence, make sure their best members are on exec. It will take a really long time (think years) but they'll get there and ultimately the goal is for every girl going through recruitment to find a home. Also, I find a lot of the cuter/more social girls in AOII have steady boyfriends and they genuinely are looking for the sisterhood, leadership, and academic aspect of being in a sorority and not the partying/boys aspect. Yes AOII isn't known for good frat relations or strong recruiting but they ARE known for a solid sisterhood, being kind, having good inter-sorority relations etc.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of British Columbia - UBC 3.4 I almost joined because there are like 3 girls who are super cool and genuine that I had seen around parties then chatted with at recruitment who I loved. But some of the other members are weird and it was clear exec didn’t like the fun members. So hopefully once exec changes the more fun girls can do the recruiting and make it a good sorrority. Feel really bad for the normal members
