Very SEC like. They have a good reputation but party a lot. I’ve heard there is more drama than the other ones, and some of the AOii have talked bad about my friends. But overall most are sweet and fun to be around.

These girls are very sweet. They take the time to get to know everyone. I love all of the girls and the way they treat others.

aoii is full of sweet girls! the newest girls usually come in pretty immature (true for most chapters) but really grow in aoii! they are funny and pretty friendly! low level of drama especially since they’re really clear on expectations and requirements. any drama I’ve heard of it usually silly and fizzles out quickly since it’s mostly between two girls/ their immediate/ closest sisters. Known for going out A LOT. if you’re joining aoii you should have a fake on bid day or don’t expect to go out aside from maybe ice cream. they stay out of other chapters ways and still show a lot of support and community for them, no bad blood with any chapter as a whole. this is a wonderful chapter to consider joining! They’ve always been one of the top houses and have continued to stay there

Dear PNMS - Get your ass off of greek rank and go into recruitment with an open mind, trust your GUT, not your ears hearing other people. The people who post negative views on any chapters page are most likely either cowards with nothing to do with their lives or bitter about that chapter for some reason that’s their own fault. I truly hope you all go into recruitment with an open heart, mind, and give every girl you talk to in every chapter an opportunity to connect with you so you can find your sisterhood. If you actually believe anything on this godforsaken website then you do not belong in a sorority, as I guarantee you NONE of the women in greek life at UAB would want you if they found out you were judgey towards another chapter before even meeting them. This message was written last year and I will continue to repost it every. single. recruitment. that I'm apart of. Last words of an active member: NO ONE LIKES A JUDGEY LITTLE GIRL. Just because you become a member of one sorority, that doesn't mean your best friend is apart of a different sorority. Peace, love, happiness.

I was genuinely depressed when I was in this sorority. It was so hard to make friends and I would cry almost daily because i felt so out of place. Everyone seems so friendly but really does not care much about you. I would cry to my roommate because i dreaded going to chapter. I asked my sisters for help many times and got disregarded. I ended up dropping because I couldn’t handle it mentally.

Aoii is one of the best sororities on campus. I don’t know why y’all are hating on them because I have never had a bad encounter. They are very social and have always been friendly to me and my friends who are in a different chapter. They are very involved on campus and I have never heard anything bad about them. Very outgoing and friendly girls!
