Recruitment as a sophomore

Are many sophomore bids available during formal recruitment? Are there any sororities that are more open to accepting sophomores? Trying to decide if I should wait for next fall or pursue recruitment this spring as a freshman.

I would reccommend trying spring COB but I’m pretty sure every house accepts sophomores. I rushed as a freshman and it didn’t workout but then rushed again as a sophomore and I’m in a house I love now that I didn’t even get invited back to last year :)

I am not sure what spring recruitment holds on whether it is in person or not, but I would consider doing formal recruitment next fall just so you can have the in person interaction with each house. You will get a much better feel of the houses in person rather than over zoom. I rushed my freshman (last year) and sophomore year and have to say in-person recruitment will definitely give you a better feel on where you belong. I hope it works out for you!
