Why would you want a bid from Tri Delt? If you weren’t on their original list you will be ignored and invisible in that house. I speak from experience, I was a Tri Delt who transferred here from another school and they all pretty much ignored me

Sounds like there was a sorority that wanted you if you just dropped so that’s good! We won’t know about COB until about two weeks post bid day officially (unofficially we will probably know sooner). In terms of snap bids it’s usually girls who dropped before pref (but made it to sisterhood with said house) or who SIP biddied who get them after they drop, and it’s if they don’t take a full enough pledge class the first time. Traditionally tri delt usually gets a full pledge class through the girls who pref them but who knows! If you are interested in cob look out for a story post/link in a week or two, and in terms of snap bids, you would get a call from your gamma chi tomorrow before bid day asking if you would like to join xyz sorority. If you don’t get a call then no snap bid but COB could work! For sororities like tri delt that typically have high retention, they usually spring cob if they cob at all. But also keep in mind you could try to reach back out to the sororities you preffed or friends in sororities that you like and see what the process could look like.

I will give tri delt this, their propaganda machine works wonders at convincing unknowing freshman girls that they actually have a sisterhood and not a house full of narcissists selling smoke and mirrors.

no hate but this was a bit embarrassing to read and think you may need a mindset shift. dropping just because you didn’t get a ‘top’ house is not only immature but just reinforces the toxic sorority culture here at unc and continues the notion that the only valuable aspects of a sorority are wealth/status and attractiveness. when i rushed a few years back i had close friends in multiple top houses and when those houses dropped me, i stuck it through and ended up very grateful for the chapter i’m in now. it’s clear you don’t care about sisterhood, philanthropy, or your own wellbeing tbh. also theres not gonna be COB this year, try again next year?? 😕
