I lived on greek rank for a year prior to recruitment and did all the things right. Snaked my way into some pre-parties with top houses to get to know girls, made connections, got letters, bought perfect fits for parties, was armed and ready. Recruitment was weird. Left top houses feeling like I just navigated a middle school lunch room, left pi phi feeling seen and cherished, it was clear that the sisters liked each other but I had other goals. By recruitment standards I did well, got “top” houses back, it was what I wanted, at least I thought. Dropped my top house 2 weeks later - who wants four years of middle school lunch room? Two cute girls in my hall went pi phi and had the best year. Pretty and smart and fun and they actually like each other. Don’t listen to the nonsense, college is a chance to start fresh, choose the people that you actually like, not the letters. Trying Greek-free life this fall but will cob this spring if I can’t find my place.

Smart, down to earth girls. I just think they need a whole rebrand and need to be more pickier with recruitment or else they’ll be the new KKG in no time.

I joined/dropped out of a different srat but I wish I had joined pi phi instead. IMO these girls are the most real, genuine, kind, interesting, and welcoming in greek life. They are fun, social, smart/passionate, and inclusive. Don’t get caught up in the “tiers” like I did.

I didn’t rush bc lots of reasons but my friends all did and a few were pi phis. Seems like they all enjoy the friends they’ve made n sisterhood events. I’ve been to an event and they all r super sweet and welcoming! Good for them getting better!

I wish they got more hype because they are so sweet and cute. When I rushed here they were so kind to me and all seemed to really love each other. Their girls are also super involved and accomplished!! I was impressed.

As someone who rushed as an upperclassman, I really loved how Pi Phi never made me feel othered for being a sophomore. Probably 1/3 of their member classes rush and join as sophomores, and a lot of their bigs are juniors looking to take sophomore littles. It was really nice to not feel weird or different for waiting until I was ready to rush.
