If you want to party, wait a bit

The next few weeks will determine if we can be on campus at all. It’s crucial that we limit the spread as much as possible while people are moving. If you want to party, please wait like three weeks to a month before going out and/or planning large get-togethers. It will be much easier to limit the spread if everyone is tested and the people who do potentially have it are caught and quarantined before they make excessive contact with people. I miss partying as much as anyone, and I do want to get out, but we gotta stay chill. Of course, it’s better to not go out at all, but the best compromise is to wait. It will be so much better and we can get back into full swing way quicker if everyone makes an effort to abstain from large social gatherings until the transitional period is over and everything is settled.
