rush advice and where to go

by: Yo

So I’m thinking of rushing but unsure where to go. I’m hearing people say that “upper houses” are better than “top houses” but how would that make sense? Wouldn’t top automatically imply they have the best guys? Could definitely use some help as to why people would say this

Of course you'll hear the upper mid houses are better since they live on this website so much. If I were you, I would just rush around, get free booze, meet a lot of new people and see where you fit it in the most. There's a couple rankings on here that are fairly accurate but even that shouldn't be your basis on where to go.

Look at the fraternity rankings page and tell me if the upper mid houses are the ones really living on this site

agreed that it's not as accurate, but obviously the rankings page matters to certain houses bc they keep self-ranking to stay at the top

“Wouldn’t top automatically imply they have the best guys?” I can’t count how many top haus guys rely on this in their social life. First of all it’s not necessarily true and a lot of the people that actually think this are usually the most creepy/uncomfortable guys I’ve talked to. Not to say all guys are like this but that’s why I prefer to hang out with the frats I do

Ok I’m in upper so I might be biased but being from a Chicago suburb and coming here with an already solid network of ppl, I just personally thought that the higher I went, the more of a “high school popularity” vibe I got. Not trying to dissuade you but everyone has different preferences so just rush around for yourself and see who you like
