Relevancy of Greek Rank
by: BroSome people in Greek life say this site is completely useless, but I disagree. I’m a freshman, and by looking at the discussion section and sometimes the rankings, I’ve learned almost every single houses’ name and letters. Also, I’ve learned the general vibe of some of the houses that I’ve never been to and what is going on with them, which has helped me to be more knowledgeable when talking to fellow Greeks in real life. So, I would say this site is still pretty useful for freshman like myself or potential PNMs to become more knowledgable about the houses on Greek life in general. However, it’s probably not as useful if you’re not a freshman. So although this site is crazy toxic at times and can sometimes spread misinformation (every website does this though I mean come on), I don’t see the point in telling freshman and pnms to not use this site. Maybe don’t use this site a ton or take it too seriously. And holy sh$t I just wrote a whole paragraph on this site. Worth it lol

That’s a fair point. Personally I didn’t look at this site until after I joined my house. But as I said in the post, if you do choose to look at this site as a PNM, I see nothing wrong with that. And reputation does matter. I’m not talking about tiers and sh$t, I’m talking about what a house is known to be like. Saying it doesn’t matter is just wrong. People want different things from their potential houses, so to PNMs reputation does matter

I get what your saying, but what’s said about a house on this site most of the times isn’t true. I’ll admit in the past I have judged people based off what house they were in due to how the house is perceived on Greek rank. But once I actually got to know people in different houses it shows how bs this website can be and that there’s no beef between houses. There are awesome and terrible people in every house so we shouldn’t hold reputations against people

Exactly like most of the info about the houses just isn’t true and like nobody cares. For example nobody isn’t going to not do something with a house because they “self rank”
