transfer
by: helpI'm thinking about transferring to uiuc next fall. I'm currently in AGD and was wondering what they are like here. Not sure if I wanna continue to be in it or just rush again.

If you are currently initiated into a sorority, you’re a member for life. You cannot join another Panhellenic sorority. That being said, agd here is nice real girls who have a lot of fun from what I’ve seen. Tbh I think they (or like any house really) could do better than some pledge checking gr for validation lol

Sorry Nah, but you’re wrong. You can look it up on the NPC website under Unanimous Agreements, Article 3, #1. I’m not going to say people don’t do it, but it is against the Bylaws and is grounds for dismissal. You can definitely pledge a sorority and then pledge a different one, but once initiated, you’re a member and can’t join another, even if you deactivate. Maybe it’s different for fraternities, but I have no idea.

AGD isn't a top house or anything but I'd say they're a solid middle tier house. They go out and have fun but still seem to have good sisterhood. If you're already initiated you cannot deactivate and rush again so I think you should at least test it out and see if you fit in with the girls

I'm sure you'd have to formally deactivate first.
