what are some reasons why someone doesn't get a bi

by: bid

Am curious, I'm in an incoming student. Does everyone get a bid from every house they rush? Or do they get bids from some houses and not others? I had a friend who didn't get a bid to a house because they didn't think he would fit, what does that mean?

Houses only extend bids to less than 100 girls. There are 4 rounds of recruitment, you go to all at first and go to fewer and fewer as the rounds progress until there are only 2 houses remaining, where you might get a bid. Houses drop girls for all kinds of reasons, usually because the girl rushing would not fit in with the girls already in the house as well as other girls also being recruited would. This is honestly a benefit, as you want to be in a house you will feel comfortable in. Recruitment is fake, every girl in the greek system knows it, and the girls in there house know if you would belong much better than you do as a rushee.

also this was not written by someone in a sorority.
"houses extend bids to less than 100 girls". Ok true-ish. Around 50-60 girls are in each pledge class. However, if you make it to preference or the round with 2 houses remaining, girls will get a bid if they put down both on their sheet versus "might". Although this is a guy's thread, please don't spread lies pretending to be a member of the panhel community.
