rushing sorority as a junior
by: jri'm thinking about rushing a sorority as a junior and i'm not really sure if it's a good idea. is it harder/ easier? i don't really care about ranking/ tiers. i just want to know how likely it is to get a bid as a junior before committing to rushing

If you are a jc transfer, by all means go through recruitment. Even if you end up without a bid, you will be meeting some incredible young women in each of the homes you tour...and they will be meeting you! It is a wise idea to register NOW online for Formal Fall 2017's recruitment events.

I always tell people that if they have ANY thought of wanting to rush, they 100% should give it a shot. you just might have 200+ sisters waiting to open their arms & their home to you!! If you decide to drop at any point you can always do spring informal. But please go through rush because every house is so excited to meet our future sisters!!!!

it is easier to rush as a junior. each house has a junior quota so its usually less competitive if you are a junior. they will take into account GPA; you want like a 3.5+ to be competitive. knowing people helps too. if you don't its not the worst thing. overall just kinda depends on how social u are
