spring fraternity rush

Hi, I'm a freshman who is planning on rushing in the spring. I wanted to get settled and comfortable here before making that commitment. I have friends who rushed in the fall, so I kind of know their experiences. I was just wondering if there are any major differences between fall and spring. I've been told that spring rush is more low-key. Any insight is appreciated.
