deegees are genuinely the nicest girls i know. They are all stunning first of all, and despite being a top house, they aren’t stuck up at all. I have a lot of dg friends because they are fun, hilarious, and nice. panhell love <3 love the deegees :)

considered a top house but sisterhood is awful. most girls hate eachother there and are fake. pretty and considered popular but not genuine or nice

The girls have no personality and not very nice to be around. But that’s doesn’t mean everyone just the ones I have met

Definitely the most well rounded sorority here- beautiful girls but also super classy and friendly, and also really involved and motivated. A lot of them are in professional fraternities and are really smart, but they also know how to have fun. The sisterhood is actually really strong I have never seen entire pledge classes do stuff together as much as they do

definitely top house not the best sisterhood because everyone here pretty much joined DG for the brand but they definitely have some very smart and classy women and some mean girls

A lot of these girls are smart, classy, and beautiful women. However not everyone fits the DG brand. Most girls try really hard on social media but pretty much look normal in person. Some you won’t even know they’re a DG until they tell you. So that should tell you enough that even in a top house, not everyone fits the image that the house created. If popularity matters so much, join DG. If not, you’d rather join a different house where you can be yourself and receive support from your sisters instead of having to compete with girls you live with. They’re also at least a lot nicer than Theta girls.

Coming from a guy in a mid frat who talked to a girl in the sorority, DGs are best described as the “popular girls” from your high school. Most are from Chicago suburbs and are good looking, smart, rich, and social. They are very friendly and social, but image focused as a generalization. If you seem “cool” they are very nice to you but if you don’t look a certain way they won’t pay attention to you or they will worry about how people perceive it if they talk to you. From what I have seen, they are actually really cool girls but are all being pressured to act a certain way, especially on social media, and care about image more than they actually would if they weren’t a part of the sorority. There doesn’t seem to be a big sisterhood there cause it seems like lots of them joined for reputation or because they knew people in it and then realized they don’t actually care about status. They all are nice to each other but there are definitely more small groups than a general sisterhood cause their “DG” image is so manufactured. Most girls I met in it don’t match the image you would expect and they stay top cause its mostly just really cool girls that know how to look “popular” on social media but are actually better if they just dropped the act.

I have to repost this. Even though this sorority is top, the house doesn't have the best sisterhood. pretty much girls join this house for the popularity, social media image, and top frat relations. kinda bogus tbh. also these girls tend to look down on others. cmon ur personality isnt just ur sorority house reputation... also no diversity and it's sad this is a top house at such a diverse and big community at u of I

they are top tier in terms of looks and popularity. obv hangs with top frats. there is no sisterhood and a lot of girls don't rlly care much about anything but social media or popularity. not academically inclined or that involved on campus. you can tell they are fake and look down on girls from other houses. ladies you are not in high school anymore
