Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign - UIUC 2.0 There are sweet girls in this house, but the self ranking has gotten out of hand. This house is nice but not top 10- you never see them out and they aren’t at all popular during rush.

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign - UIUC 3.9 Nice and really friendly girls and nice house. Not the most social house but not the least social house either. This isn't a sought after-house by any means but it isn't a bad house. Easy to vibe with them.

If you want that, then this is the house for you, but if you're looking for stereotypical sorority life this isn't it. Also hang out with weird frats and their philanthropy is kinda odd

Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign - UIUC 3.9 aopi member here, yea we’re considered bottom tier but we’re not desperately trying to social climb, rank really doesn’t matter much to us if I’m being honest. My experience in aopi? Really nice, chill people, super diverse, never been a “cookie-cutter” sorority. PNMs: if you don’t care about rank, you just want a tight sisterhood and a work hard/play hard mentality, this is the place. We’re smart but we have fun too, even if we are a “bottom tier” house. Ranking in general just seems to add to the toxic parts of Greek life culture, we couldn’t care less what everybody else thinks about us. We focus our energy on each other, not our “social rank” on campus; shouldn’t that be the goal anyway? Sororities should be about sisterhood, not winning a popularity contest. Ok that’s all

As a former member, I have a differing opinion. AOPi does care about rank in terms of leaving a good impression at fraternities. They used to hang out with a lot of middle tier fraternities, but ever since Spring 2020, middle tier fraternities will not plan exchanges with them. They are going down socially for sure. The sisterhood is not tight at all. They are exclusive, cliquey, gossipy, and catty towards each other. Also, girls in the group chat were talking about how ranking houses in Greek life is stupid and all houses should hang out with each other. They clearly have no understanding for how social hierarchies work. If fraternities have to spend money on alcohol for events, then they are going to want to hang out with hotter girls... However, there are a lot of smart and academically motivated girls in this house. There are horse girls too though.
