no real social, exchange/pregame with low tier sororities, decent guys but some are really weird and it's just not a popular house on campus. Its a shame considering they used to run this school about 5 years ago...

Great to see the Betas back on campus. They have one of the biggest/nicest houses around. Solid bunch of guys who are down to earth and love to chill. Always have fun hanging out with them. All our pregames/exchanges we've had with them have been super fun, especially with their newest pledge class (18s). They are definitely not typical "frat bros" that you always hear about which is soo refreshing. Beta has a very bright future on campus.

The house is basically split into 2. The 17s in all honestly kinda really suck. The 18s, from what I hear, throw awesome pregames and are actually good looking/fun. The 18s in my house don't stop talking about how much they love the Betas. I've met a few of the boys in the 18s class at the bars and they do have a lot of potential. Their future depends on the next few classes they get, if they can keep pulling in guys that are as social as the 18s they will be in good shape.

From what I and my sisters can tell, the 18's class is an entirely different frat than the 17's.

They are in a rebuilding phase after just getting their house back. They are heading in a new direction based off the latest pledge class with many pledges being people you would not typically see in a house with the reputation such as this one. Appear to be going for less of a "frat" house and more of a group of guys who play video games and study. Kind of sad to see what was once the top house on campus by a long shot, now becoming just another Delta Upsilon.

Somehow someway they got block in their 3rd year back on campus with AGD, which is actually pretty impressive. I guess some might consider them to be "socially relevant" now, but I never hear about any of their events except for their formal in the Sears Tower. Their physical house is your classic fraternity castle, but the large majority of the upperclassmen I know just should not be in a fraternity. Clearly they're doing something right if they got block but have a long way to go.
