Of course it's possible. They want to tell you that they are so exclusive that they already have everyone picked out, and if anyone says different on here they are shut down, but the truth is that yes if you seem their type they will be interested. Who cares, don't worry about things you can't do anything about. See what you get back for philanthropy and put your heart into rushing those chapters.

Not at Kappa. You must be absolutely loaded, usually from the northeast, and connected. Kappa will string along girls through the later rounds, showing lots of interest, scaring off other houses and drop girls at the last minute.
You don’t have to have connections for any other house.

It is the truth because that's not how recruitment works, but it hardly "hurts" kappa, they are a strong recruiting sorority for sure. There are too many old women on here who are bitter and totally ignorant of RFM.

What kinds of events? Do you need connections to get into houses? Why do they seem to prioritize connections so much? Do most girls have connections?

Don't worry about it. It just means that members in sororities know girls from their high schools and home towns. Of course they are going to want to get the girls they already know. This is not the only thing they are looking at despite what people say on here. Some people are bitter because they or their daughters didn't get a bid to a certain house so they say untrue things to make sororities look bad or else they are alum members trying to keep up a false mystique that they are untouchable so don't even think you will measure up. And people who aren't even in greek life jump on the train just because they want to pretend. Also people are still talking like there is spring rush instead of fall which has changed everything completely. It's ridiculous.

Name the "events" because that's the biggest rush infraction there is and can get a srat suspended and nationals yanking a charter. Otherwise crawl back into your troll hole.

Wow- throwing shade on AXO? Those girls are awesome. Must be from a house they compete with. Great girls and sisterhood there. If anything, SMU needs more sororities overall. You can find the same kind of girls in almost any house at SMU. The difference is the houses that play inside baseball and prelist girls with household names. You'll find girls in the other houses that have excellent grades, activities, are kind, fun and are beautiful that are not connected in advance to "those houses." There are plenty of "mid" gals in the houses that cut heavy too.

You have no idea how sorority recruitment works.
No sorority can 'string along girls' because every sorority is GIVEN their numbers by panhellenic for each round, and no sorority is 'scaring off other houses' because none of the houses EVER KNOW which sorority is inviting which pnm's at any round.
It's obvious you are at least 50 years old. Seems you have carried a grudge for a looooooong time; let it go and worry about menopause.
The BS on here needs to STOP.
