rush questionss

1) do we get a rush bag? if not where do yall store fans,lippies, etc
2) if i have my eye on a sorority should i reach out to them/actives on insta?
3) brunch attire for sisterhood round is pretty vague- do most things work? also are heels okay
4) i dont know anyone , will i have to sit by myself on open house/orientation day?
5) any other helpful tips or things that r good to know?

There is one final online info session this Sunday. Register through panhellenic. You can get more answers there.
1 - Bring your own bag for essentials. Not a huge one because it needs to fit into one of the bins with everyone else's before you go into a house.
2- Follow ALL the houses on insta and make sure yours is public, pnm's should have been doing this for awhile. You can reach out if you want.
3 - Yes most things work for brunch attire except athleisure. Heels okay if you want but not sky high.
4 - IDK what you mean sit by yourself, you'll be herded into the student center with everyone else and sit together. Lots of girls don't know anyone. You will have met some pnm's from dorm move in by then.

You want as many of them to find your insta as possible and if it's public more can do that instead of just the ones you happen to follow. They are looking at your vibe and how you present yourself to see if you fit with them. Sororities are looking at everything to make first round decisions including social media along with GPA, resume, video. They have to make releases before Philanthropy.

Rush starts as soon as registration opens in the spring. The first round is a done deal before orientation.

Duh. Rush on the sorority side started in May when registration opened. Sororities have been looking all summer through everything that pnm's submit including pnm's socials and are about done choosing for philanthropy. It's kinda late for reaching out on insta and making accounts public to try for likes and follows because recruitment is about to start, but pnm's can try .

Why does it matter if your account is public? Can’t you just follow a bunch of sorority girls? Also if they’ve been following me does that still mean my account should be public? What do they look for on our Instagram? Is our Instagram a factor in the decision process?
