Def the top sorority at temple right now. This sorority definitely gets hated on the most because a lot of girls like to judge them just off their Instagrams. I have met a couple DZ girls who have genuinely been really nice to me, and they are super involved with philanthropy as well. Yes there are some girls who aren’t very friendly, but you get that with every sorority. Overall they’re pretty cool

go way too hard during rush to try to intimidate everyone. they have little to no diversity. i felt like i was talking to a brick wall during rush tbh.

they're very selective towards basic fake girls and no genuine sisterhood/ no diversity. don't join them unless you want to be fake sisters/ party wildly every weekend w no future :)

one too many dz girls has an orange and white Instagram......need to do more research but this definitely seems alarming? do you turn orange once joining the sorority or do they only let orange girls join?? someone please let me know!!

they’re known on campus and always try to put their sororities name down everyone’s throats as if they are the best but they really don’t do too much for the community and when i rushed they were so mean to me. at one point the girl i was talking to left me to go whisper something in another sisters ear while staring at me and then walked back as if i didn’t see her do it right in front of my face. Just very rude and it’s not a good look. Mean girls all around

some girls in this sorority only care about instagram and popularity but that is a really small percentage. most of these girls are genuine and down to earth. they party a lot and are gorgeous.

Generally known as the 'best' sorority at Temple, but good luck getting in without being super attractive, rich, and/or having a large instagram following. I don't fit any of these and it's funny because during recruitment, the girls I talked to looked like they had zero interest in me, I wasn't surprised LOL. For them, it's looks > personality, which none of the ones I talked to seem to have...

I spent 6 semesters being in this sorority and I honestly can’t recommend it. They’re known for being the cool pretty rich girls who are close with the frats with the hottest guys which is fine except for the fact that it was a huge popularity contest. They’ll sit here looking at these reviews and just say “Lol they made this up, looks like someone didn’t get a bid.” even if the experiences are true. During rush one year, they had to tell people to stop all trying to talk to a few specific girls because they were pretty and wore cool outfits and seemed cool. Not to mention, had a decent amount of followers and cool pictures on Instagram. It’s not very genuine, some girls are awesome and so nice but a lot were incredibly standoffish and didn’t want to meet new people unless you were popular at frats, had a good Instagram and were a fun party girl. A ton of people just joined with their old friends and kept those same groups. Literally no one wanted to attend sorority or philanthropy events, this was discussed a few times during my time in DZ. It was so difficult to get anyone to show up to anything. There was constantly putting down the other sororities even if they seemed to be closer and more authentic then us. Honestly, I spent thousands to try and make friends but ended up leaving not talking to almost anyone from the sorority for a few years now. My own Greek family didn’t even keep in touch. Maybe things have changed but I honestly doubt it, it’s been going downhill for a while. I do hope that things do improve though.
