if your invited to a formal, likely to get bid?

Just curious, I got invited back to a formal and want to know likelihood of receiving bid

Generally speaking yes, however, it depends on the organization. Getting a formal in vote is a good sign because it means they like you enough to consider giving you a bid but sometimes not enough members have gotten the chance to talk with you so they give you an invite to give themselves time to get to know you better.
