OOS Discrimination?

Do any sororities not like or don't take out-of-state girls or girls from the South in general? I am going to rush this year as a freshman but am concerned because I am from South Carolina and feel like no one else at Penn State is.

You’ll be fine. I also hate to generalize it like this, but if you’re attractive and/or nice/cool, you’ll do just fine

yea don’t worry at all. A sorority at psu is never gonna not take a girl bc of what state she is from, the school is huge there are girls from all over. It’s 90% looks, clothing, and general attractiveness. 10% your ability to hold a phony conversation for a few days during rush. they do not take hometown, gpa, involvements, or ANYTHING else into consideration.
