Informal recruitment that different?
by: sophI'm gonna be a sophomore in the fall and my gpa was too low last semester to rush. Anyone have any tips or info on how informal recruitment for sorority goes? Would it be hard if I don't know any other sorority girls yet

If your GPA has improved and meets the Panhel minimum and any sorority-specific GPA requirements, then give informal a try. But if your GPA is still too low, there's no getting around that. Also, keep in mind that even though rush minimum is 2.5, most sororities require at least a 3.0 or greater.

Ignore that idiot above.:)
Sure, you can still get a bid without knowing anyone. COB is simply a more informal, less structured way for potential new members to get to know the sorority and decide if it's for you. Sororities doing COB usually post info on their instas, so you'll have to check individual sites.
