by: safetyI only got a bid from my safety which was in mid, is that still better than nothing because I got close in others and I'm very torn on accepting or rushing again next fall. I liked the guys and had a lot of fun regardless but I want some unreliable 2 cents.

yeah i got a little excited. AKL selfranks themselves hard. but for the most part, rankings are accurate and its easy to see an obvious outlier. If you like the guys, tier shouldnt matter. The majority of your time will be spent with the brothers anyways. You can always work to change tier as well. Recruit harder, throw better parties, make connections. Regardless, being president of Dchi is going to look the same to employers as being president of a bottom tier. And honestly, if you only got a bid from a mid tier, mid tier is where you belong.

depends what house it is, its not like the houses have to social with that class either if they have this bad rep. chances are some of those houses wont social with em because of that

Who you social with is not the reason to pick a fraternity. If you liked the brothers accept the bid now. Every sorority has pretty girls, no matter who you are with. Accept the bid now and start making memories.

If you really vibed with guys there then use your best judgment. If you want to make memories with that house and you think you’ll have a good time there then go for it! I wish I would’ve rushed sooner. Accepting a bid over waiting any day of the week. Greeklife is a privilege.

JOIN THAT HOUSE. You pretty much said you vibed with them. Remember most of the time you spent in greek life is with your brothers so thats most important. By your senior year you won't care about tiers. Also don't take greek life too seriously... its just an opportunity to make a 50,000 person school much smaller with your circle of friends. You will have greek and geed friends

I'd rather not disclose but it's 5-7, I'd say it's 5 because if people rank AKL at 5 then this frat is definitely 5. I also don't really care about the girls as much as I'd rather make friends and have a good time.
