about reach schools

by: Whatsup

If you are going through recruitment or starting to rush frats, think about how you found PSU. Most HS kids select a reach school (or two), some clear choices and a safety (or two). You should be thinking along the same way with rush. You wouldn't have only applied to the Ivies and been left disappointed if it didn't go your way. You were smart enough to spread out your net in hopes of finding a good fit. Look at chapters that are "reach", "solid" and "safety". If you understand that everyone won't get accepted Ivy, you will be much happier with your outcome. If it goes your way, bravo. But, if not, have a back up plan. It's much better to be Greek (in any house) than a sad lonely GEED wishing you had a better plan going in.

Plagiarized by the knucklehead below this. Seems he should have gotten into Arizona State.

I was thinking of getting a bid like this. When I was getting accepted to colleges, everything took a while and I was nervous until my first acceptance, which was a huge relief. Basically the same with getting a bid.
