getting a bid
by: JDRushing most houses in tiers 1-5 how hard is it to get a bid for an average person? Details if possible? (just asking btw sum yall gotta chill)

Assuming you never met anyone in these frats before and you're just an "average" dude. I'll ball park the typical.
Tier 1: 1 in 100 chance (Everything has to go in your favor)
Tier 2-3: 5 in 100 chance (Looking on the outside but maybe lucky)
Tier 4-5 20 in 100 chance (Good chance if someone really likes you)

I’d say those odds are a bit low (although first tiers are accurate). Average guy I’d say 50/50 tiers 3-5 depending on house.

Assuming typical 1000 rushes registered. That means 500 bids will be given out 3-5. Its really not that easy. There are around 10 houses in 3-5 and they are not giving out 50 bids each. Especially if they never met you before and you just stuck out as a average dude. Trust me freshmen you are not simply just going to have 50% chance. The first day over half of you will be cut

I recommend you rush mainly 4-5 if you're an average dude. You'll find the best fit for you
