freshman give as many frats a chance when you rush

by: Frat Life

There are so many fraternities at Penn State. So many. The only true reality as to what you need to search for this fall is not rankings or even the nicest houses. It’s how well the brothers invite you into thier ranks and how well you fit in with the brothers that invite you in. At the end of the day, you will always want to aim high when attempting a new opportunity in your life, so it is understandable as to why you might want to be in the highest tier as possible. However, work with the tools your personality has and try as many as 10-12 house when the next zone day comes along until you find the right fit with who you are. That’s how you’ll enjoy the next three years of college. That’s how you’ll grow as leader. That’s how you’ll be ready for the real world post Penn State.

Well, there is a difference in socials and sorority relations between the top and bottom tiers, which is the only thing he left out, but I would truly take this memo to heart next Fall.

When it all comes down to it. All frats just want is people they can live with and hang with. However, you should have your top picks, your acceptable ones, and some safeties.

Very accurate. The more options you have, the better off you are at finding a place to belong to.

Take it from someone who has been all around the frats, mostly top and middle, I can say that you should always look for a house that will welcome you as an individual and be able to talk to girls. It's what makes us want to come back.

The best tip is to try going to 4-5 houses on each of the 4 zone days. That way you can fully see Greek life at psu for yourselves instead of from this site.

This does add up. I think most of us in Greek Life would agree with this. The more houses you visit, the better off you are.
