sophomore rush bias?

Why is it so hard for anyone other than a freshman to rush, frat or sorority? Why such a bias against sophomores?

Only kids that can rush in the fal are sophomores what do u mean

It's not from the sorority perspective. Every year they have a number of sophomores that they are permitted to take during formal rush that is separate from the number of freshmen they are allowed to take. It's basically two quotas, one for freshmen, and one for upperclassmen. So sophomores have an equal opportunity to join any sorority just like freshmen because they aren't necessarily competing against them. Where you get into problems that a sophomore might face could be on campus reputation.
