party scene here or u of maryland?

Agree with first response. Do not make your choice based on perceived party scene. If you are fun, you will have fun on any campus where you have 30,000+ same age potential friends. If you are from out of state, look at the cost and quality of the major you are considering. Life at PSU is lit, for sure. UMD prolly rocks also.

To be fair, U of M probably has similar academics and similar price, I see nothing wrong with making party scene and "fun" the deciding factor. That being said, I have no idea what U of M party scene is like
