rankings based on?

I see a lot of discussions on rankings of fraternities and sororities, but exactly what are these rankings based on?

Mostly the reputation (in others words “hotness”) of the sororities they social with. The reputation of the fraternity (quality of guys, house, parties) might also have an impact but honestly it’s all subjective.

It is all immature HS BS. Do not use this as a basis of selecting a house. What is considered "top tier" is who parties the most and the superficial double standard for women of looks. Guys want to party with hot girls who will get drunk and put out. If guys think XYZ chapter is the "best" it is based on that standard. Do you really want to select your friends based on who guys think is putting out??? Not if you are a quality individual. For guys, the "top frats" are the ones that throw the biggest ragers. Believe me, they are not all great looking guys. Ignore the juvenile ranks and find a group of guys/girls that share your values, sense of humor, etc.
