It is unfortunate that you didn't mature at all since last year. For most that get butt hurt when they don't get into the chapters they want, by sophomore year they realize that there are great girls in all chapters. Sophomores do not have great success during recruitment unless they used last year to meet tons of women in chapters and now have a posse pulling for them. If you haven't made a network of connections, it isn't going to happen. Most often when sophomores go through recruitment a second time, they end up with the same chapters they had as freshmen. That is where you fit. Stop thinking you are too good for certain chapters. You are not! As for ASA and AXO, the women that were released, if not initiated, are free to rush again and some probably will.

You have to decide if you really want the experience of being Greek. Too many freshmen drop when they get let go by the chapter(s) that they fall in love with first round. As was said above, more often than not, the results will be the same, if not worse, for sophomores. Get over yourself and realize that you can have a great experience in all chapters--that includes mid and bottom tier houses which are much better than being a GEED.
