Can someone explain what pre-tap night is?? also what happens between pre-tap and tap night if not everyone accepts the invitation to join and there's not enough people

Pre tap is basically each society's first choice group. When people tapped on pre tap night turn down invitations to join societies, the societies spend the next week extending invites to other juniors. Tap night, one week later, is the final night of the process.

How soon do you need to commit to a society after pre-tap? Also if you receive multiple invites to pre tap do you have to choose one or can you attend all the pre tap events? A little confused about the whole process.

You can attend as many pretap events as you were invited to. This is your way of meeting the other juniors and deciding which group you ultimately want to join. Youll be asked to commit by the end of the weekend probably.
