Not as solidly top as in years past. Pi Phi is treading dangerous waters with their reputation now that this year's seniors are graduating. Now that there are four sororities and rush is becoming more competitive/pledge classes are not a clean split between them and Theta anymore, they are running a big risk of becoming known for the cattiness and elitism of some of the more prominent members in the junior and sophomore class. This + a possible loss of the house is not a good sign.

They scored the hot NYC girl clique, which usually goes to Theta, so that says LOADS. And then the rest of the girls followed (to Pi Phi) because everyone chatters when it comes to choosing pi phi or theta. People wanted to be in their sorority.

Heard they lost their house. It's not looking good for them and this will have a negative impact on their pledge class next year.

They had a great recruitment year. Obviously. But class of 2016 was a fantastic recruitment year too. They have years when they are meh and years that are like WTF they hot. Pi Phi is cyclical and you need to remember that. Pi Phi is the uppity sorority girl who goes all-out with the mixer theme apparel. Also athletic generally. But I prefer going to theta crush since it's more prestigious and theta has the old money + progressive vibe mixed into one package. Can' go wrong

Theta gets the blair waldorfs and hot diversity chicks. So Pi Phi is now the de facto "athlete/white prep school" type. not bad.

definitely top notch at Yale. they got the hottest girls in their pledge class this year and are the most fun at parties by far. the only problem is they haven't been very diverse in the past (stereotype of being all blonde athletes)

Very nice. But I would be interesting in finding figures of who chose Pi Phi over Theta if given a bid to Theta. as an outsider, it seems that theta chose the people that they wanted, and everyone else follows. It just turned out that AMAZING girls were in the pool, so Pi Phi's stock currency increased in value. wbu?

lost their house but got a 3 bedroom in the cambridge/oxford temporarily - not too shabby. sad because theta was so excited about maybe having gained some ground back after pi phi destroyed them in recruitment 2017. good work ladies.
