Hard to be jealous when they lost all their founding values. I remember when I was a sophomore and Alpha Phi was just starting. It was the "nice girls" sorority that was still hot. They were put together and extremely organized due to those two women representatives of the Alpha Phi Nationals. Looking back at their photo albums on their Facebook Page ("Mathletes & Athletes", "Formal Fall 2015", "Events") they are total sweethearts and having a blast; they didn't care about Leo and being "sceney" and ranking and prestige. What happened?

as a sophomore guy in a frat (not leo) there are a few sophomores who are very hot/desirable/social etc. aphi didn't do as well in recruitment last year as they did for 2019 because they had very little campus presence and got lazy about getting freshmen interested. but they still did okay. this year they've been more proactive about rush (look at crush photos there were sceney freshmen there). with the new house and improved rep/graduation of the meh seniors i think this year will be a strong recruitment year for them.

Class of 2019 is amazing, Class of 2020 definitely dipped below. This year's recruitment is meaningful vis-a-vis Pi Phi

They consistently get better every year. You would not recognize the APhi of just 2 years ago as the same sorority. Yeah, their attitude has taken a hit as they've risen in selectivity and desirability, but that's how Greek life works

basically all of the rich/well-connected girls in alpha phi are too crazy/LEO-focused for theta. the rest of the girls are very chill. sophomore pledge class was a little weaker than the juniors but the well-connected sophomores are stronger overall than the juniors. so the juniors had more top girls, but the sophomores have more socially powerful top girls of the ones that are there. solid sorority

Everything on this page is currently about frats? APhi is a great group of girls, all very chill and down-to-earth. In an effort to take a break from talking about the guys, there's always a lot of Theta presence at APhi events and vice versa, and APhi fall crush was no exception. Frats don't matter! APhi is dope!

I mean if you consider "rare" to be less than Theta, which SigEp is closest to so they obviously mix most with. APhi and Pi Phi both mix with SigEp but way way less than Theta. Everyone else (Kappa, sports teams) is little to none. End of story.

they have risen greatly in rank/hotness/desirabili ty since they came 2 years ago but that comes at a price. i don't think they're THAT bad but their sisterhood is reportedly really iffy because they can be cliquey. very involved on campus though, great philanthropy events, brunch looked amazing this year and that was the first time they'd ever done it.
