Sigma Phi Epsilon - ΣΦΕ Fraternity at Yale University - YU 4.0 Sig Ep is not as Sig Ep as it used to be. The current guys cannot keep riding the coattails of Goble's legacy and expect no one to notice that they are losing ground. Objectively Sig Ep has: the cheapest alcohol and mixers, the worst door, infrequent and crowded parties (and not crowded in a good way: Fling was a nightmare, Smooch'd as well), and just ok looking guys. All of this without the draw of high quality photos? Do better.

Sig Ep is not as Sig Ep as it used to be. The current guys cannot keep riding the coattails of Goble's legacy and expect no one to notice that they are losing ground. Objectively Sig Ep has: the cheapest alcohol and mixers, the worst door, infrequent and crowded parties (and not crowded in a good way: Fling was a nightmare, Smooch'd as well), and just ok looking guys. All of this without the draw of high quality photos? Do better.

Sigma Phi Epsilon - ΣΦΕ Fraternity at Yale University - YU 2.2 Lot to say here. Judging by those facebook pics they ALWAYS post to fb (cmon get a life) we can tell a lot. the great fratsby was 90% freshmen and sophomores. with like 5 juniors and 3 senior guys. SigEp is fantastic for your first two years I would say. But after that...societies! Sigep's house is nice because it's an architectural legend so it's sunken basement is very cool. But it just get old by junior fall. Brothers are either heinous-looking or attractive.Always the place 4 SF darty

This will always be the case because greek life is a TINY TINY fraction of the student body and no one cares mostly. Societies right now are the only think ppl talk about in 2018. Probably has gone a little down hill the last few years but Yale greek life in general has as well. Until the other fraternities catch up, this is still the one to beat

I know like One super involved senior in a Big 3 but I don't consider him a "Sig Ep" guy bc he does so much more besides be in sig ep. Let's face it. mixing with theta and manning the front door to your house does not make you stand out when it comes to tap night...

But the fact is so few guys on campus are actually in fraternities. and so few of them can even get their sh_it together to organize an actual decent rush, pledge, and organization process as well as churn out a respectable social calendar. Frat life at yale is a joke that you can only name two fraternities that are decent.
