Sigma Phi Epsilon - ΣΦΕ Fraternity at Yale University - YU 1.8 Completely overrated. They have a generally poor brotherhood. '16 and '15 were top notch, but the fraternity has taken to selecting really different types of people...The only reason I still go to mixers is because they have a really nice house. But the younger classes are a true testament to the lost core identities of a bygone era. (miss you goblebooth)

Sigma Phi Epsilon - ΣΦΕ Fraternity at Yale University - YU 4.6 The amount of hate a clearly top tier frat like Sig Ep gets should really say something. Yes, they're parties are exclusive, and yes their rush process is very selective, but in all honesty, Sig Ep has the nicest, cutest, and most fun group of boys on campus. People always say that their brotherhood isn't that strong, and I can't comment on that because I would have no way of knowing, but they seem close to me...

But that's b/c SigEp attracts clueless freshmen who are socially lost and want to feel validated. Also may I mention McGrew's disgusting OpEd, Separate is Unequal? A key quote: "fraternities...[m onopolize] control over a key resource for forming networks in college." Only for a Sigma Phi Hairsalon brother would partying be a key "networking" activity instead of for—oh, I don't know—fun??! McGrew, plz tell me about those "legendary" partiez!!

It's the complete opposite. Sig Ep took SAE's whole class as usual. SAE was left with scraps

Sigma Phi Epsilon - ΣΦΕ Fraternity at Yale University - YU 3.0 Lots of guys that are likable, but hard to respect or take them seriously. nothing polarizing about them, very passive and a slightly effeminate. Have lots of money and a nice house so the sororities like them. also not really a fan of their younger classes
