will being overweight cause me issues during rush?

I am overweight. I know it, but I have other things going for me. How much will this affect me getting into the sorority of my choice and which sororities should I not bother with considering?

Yes, it will affect you, but so will a lot of other factors. Every little thing plays a part during recruitment. While it is considered mutual selection, unless you are being very heavily recruited by more than one org right now then it is actually mainly just the sororities choice. Lots of girls go through, and we want the people who will have the most positive impact to our org, not just reputation-wise or looks-wise but who will make us better overall. Think about that when you're going through recruitment.

I just wanted you to know I have been extra nice to the bigger girls during Rush. But some of their personalities are not a fit.
