For anyone going through recruitment, getting to know the girls definitely helps your chances as well as having very good grades (above a 3.0). However, sororities are not required to take sophomores and may cut you due to your seniority. Definitely rush and see how it works and if Greek Life is for you, but be aware your options may be limited.

Quite a few sophomores rushed this year and the ones that received bids got into the entire spectrum. Don't let your year discourage you and be the best you, you can be!

Your chances as a transfer might be better than girls who have been on campus for a year and a half, don't know anyone in sororities are decide to rush. Transfers are seen as more of coming to the process with a clean slate.
