Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at Stony Brook University - SBU 3.2 Cortland student but figured Id put input on the SBU orgs I met at Jones Beach last month. Didnt see a lot of girls from this org there, a lot more of Theta and SDT so I dont know if that means these girls are less social or maybe just dont get along with the frat that put together the banger as much? Either way didnt see much of them, but also didnt see them doing anything that would turn me off of the org. A lot more quiet and kept to themselves, if thats your thing.

Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at Stony Brook University - SBU 3.8 They tried to rush me for 2 semesters and I just didn't really feel very comfortable around the org as a whole. Most conversations felt a bit forced, like they were desperate for me to pref them. They were too agreeable, trying to relate to everything I said, even if it contradicted something they had said earlier in our conversation. They're nice girls and I have nothing against them, but in the end I joined the org that I felt most comfortable in. Good luck and happy rushing :)

Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at Stony Brook University - SBU 3.6 Here's the lowdown on this sorority: They' got some really chill sisters who know how to throw down. They aren't the most popular sorority on campus but they're the most genuine sorority. Compared to the others they have the best sisterhood. If you're looking to join a sorority based on quality of girls this would be the one, if your just looking for a sorority that is "popular" but no one of the girls like each other look else where.

Alpha Sigma Alpha - ΑΣΑ Sorority at Stony Brook University - SBU 2.4 This sorority is lame. They don't have a process, so they barely know their line sisters. I was told by a girl who just crossed not to even bother rushing because they don't offer anything but intelligence which I feel is exhibited by pretty much every sorority at Stony Brook generally. If you're looking to be part of an organization just to be part of an organization for letters and not spend time, this is the org for you.
